Mountain Ridge Cabins -- when you really need to get away from it all. You'll find yourself relaxing within minutes of your arrival in this uniquely beautiful location where you're surrounded by the majesty of the Tonto National Forest only 30 minutes northeast of Payson, Arizona.

You can make your time here as active or leisurely as you need at this woodland retreat. There are four cabins available on forty acres of property. Even when fully booked, Mountain Ridge is not crowded. At Mountain Ridge Cabins, each cabin is perfect in its own way and they're somewhat spread out within the property. Please review the features of each cabin and find one that matches your particular needs. For location of each cabin on the property, please refer to the map to the right.

General information:

Season: The cabins can be rented beginning the first weekend of May and ending the last weekend of October.
There is a 2-night minimum on weekends, and a 3-night minimum for Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day weekends.

Rates: please see each individual cabin, as rates vary based on cabin size.

Now for the few rules:

• For your health and our insurance rates, we do not permit smoking in any of the buildings.
• Children should be supervised at all times while on the grounds, but especially when near the ponds.
• For the safety of all children, animals and our property, please close all gates behind you.
• No pets allowed.
• To ensure our guests enjoyment, we have a simple noise rule: quiet hours are from 9pm through 9am during which time you should make no sounds which can be heard outside of your cabin. Please remember, even the sound of your voice carries quite a distance in this open environment.
• Please ask permission before picking any fruits, vegetables or flowers from the garden area. The apple and pear trees will bear fruit in the Fall; we ask that the trees remain undisturbed until then.
• Please do not invite other people to visit you during your stay here. Our insurance does not cover us for this and it is not fair to the other guests.
• Each cabin has a maximum number of guests listed. This number must be enforced due to insurance and health reasons.
• Lastly, please drive slowly (10 mph max) and carefully. There are usually children and animals throughout the property. The road leading to the property is a one-lane road with two-way traffic and is used by many vehicles. Use extreme caution while on this road.
